Declaration of Faith

  • We believe in the absolute authority of the Scriptures, inspired and revealed to his apostles and prophets, and that they are the rule of faith and conduct for all believers. (2 Tim. 3:16-17)
  • We believe in only One and Sovereign God manifested in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Jn. 1:1; 1 Tim. 3:16; 1 Jn. 5:7)
  • We believe in the gospel of grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, who is the cornerstone and only foundation of His Church. (Jn. 1:14-17; Act. 20:24; 1 Cor. 3: 10-11; Eph. 3:8)
  • We believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which He has given to the Church as He wanted, for the healthy edification of the Body of Christ. (1 Cor. 12:1-32; Rom. 12:6-8; Eph. 4:11)
  • We believe that salvation is obtained only by grace through faith and that faith is the result of the gift of God to His elected ones to show them His love and mercy. (Rom. 3:24; Eph. 2:5, 8)
  • We believe that God the Father, since the foundation of the world, chose certain individuals among the fallen men from the race of Adam, to be objects of His undeserved favor. Those, and only those, He purposed Himself to save. (Deu. 10:14-15; Psa. 33:12; Mt. 22:14; Rom. 11:33; Eph. 1:4; 1 Thess. 1:4; 2 Tim. 1:9; 1 Pet. 1:1-2)
  • We believe, as the Scriptures declared, that the sacrifice of Christ came with the purpose of paying a complete satisfaction for some and specific sinners and that it guaranteed the salvation to those individuals (the elected ones) and to no one else. This salvation included bringing His people back to a correct relationship with God and also assured the necessary faith and repentance for their salvation. (Mt. 26:28; Act. 5:31; 13:48; Ga. 2:16; Heb. 9:15)
  • We believe in God's sovereignty and through the Holy Spirit, preserves the believer and makes him/her persevere to the end, accomplishing (only God) that none of His elected ones perish. (Jn. 3:16; 10:27-28; Rom. 8:29-39)
  • We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as the work of regeneration through which we were baptized in the Body of Christ and sealed as His personal possession. (Tit. 3:5; Rom. 6:3-4)
  • We believe that the believer in Christ is called to live wholly and exclusively for God and that this is accomplished only through submitting to the government of the Holy Spirit. (Rom. 7:1-6; 2 Cor. 5:14-17)
